Top Grappling Dummy Recommendations
Welcome to Grappling Dummys! After trying damn never every grappling dummy on the market, I thought it would be a great idea to compile info about my favorite training dummies to help others avoid the same mistakes I did. Not to mention, wasting a ton of money! After going through nearly a half dozen dummies, these are the three I found to be the best.

1. Combat Sports Legged Grappling Dummy 120lbs
This is BY FAR my favorite dummy out there. The Combat Sports grappling dummies in general are very good, but I find a lot of gyms opt for the smaller dummy because it is cheaper and can be used by men, women and children. However, I really enjoy having a dummy with a little bit of weight. It makes it more realistic to drill on, and it also provides a better workout and more realistic throwing experience. If you are looking to do any throws or takedowns, seriously consider getting this slightly heavier dummy. This dummy also holds up to heavy ground and pound and throws a bit better than some other dummies.
If I could have only 1 grappling dummy for the rest of my life, this 120lber would be it.

Reviews per MMAWarehouse.com:
My students and I love this dummie. We use it at practice regularly. There are all types of ways to incorporate this product into our MMA Training. We use it to work our positions on the ground, we use it for takedowns and of course we all love to practice our ground and pound on it the most. Thx again MMA Warehouse for once again providing our Team with another great product [...] Trevor L.
it gets me by without having to have a partner that may get injured for some of my techniques. Works great when your partner can show up for practice.
Training for Muay Thai– great for clinch work with elbow and knee strikes.

2. Combat Sports Legged Grappling Dummy 90lbs
If you are looking for something slightly smaller, or a bit more inexpensive, check out this Combat Sports 90lbs grappling dummy. It has the same basic design as the 120lb vesion, but is 2 inches shorter and 30lbs lighter. It also provides for a great workout and holds up very well to extended use. This is my 2nd favorite grappling dummy I have used and I highly recomend it.

Reviews per MMAWarehouse.com:
This thing is much bigger than I thought it would be. It is also dead weight so be sure that you get the right size! (90lbs feels a lot heavier!) It is great for working strikes in a standing clinch. Also great for practicing ground & pound as well as subs. The legs are pretty stiff which dosen’t help much with leg subs but it helps out a lot when using it in a standing position.
This is a must have if you don’t have a regular training partner.
This 90 pound dummy is big! Even though it’s weight says 90 pounds, it feels like its 120. This is great for throws, slams, and submissions. It is bigger than I thought it would be. If not used right, this dummy can hurt you. So just be safe because its HUGE! The fabric is great. It looks nothing like the dummy in the video provided. It’s black and the fabric is hard. Great dummy for the price. Buy it to see how great this dummy is.
This thing is HUGE! It’s pretty heavy as well. Great fabric. Like a nylon black fabric. Its not like the one in the video they provided. But it is the same shape as it but a little bigger. It’s tall too! Great for MMA! Very VERY DURABLE! Only con I found was that your can’t do many leg locks, because the legs so stiff. Maybe with a lot of use, the legs will be able to bend better. I recommend this dummy for anyone who is trying to get stronger, and train hard.

3. Combat Sports Thai-Clinch Grappling Dummy 120lbs
If you are looking for a grappling dummy which has the ability to stand, so you can practice takedowns and your Muay Thai clinch, this is a great option for you.
